It doesn’t matter if it’s a JS app running in a container or a mainframe, if the power is knocking your service out you’re not doing it right. The company I work for runs a few mainframes. The DCs have 2 circuits for power, batteries, and diesel generators. I’ve seen them run the tests on the generators. Our “main” mainframe does not run 9s it runs 100% of the time or someone from IBM is getting on a plane...
