My response that got flagged was "This is the only reasonable response in this entire post." Clearly it was being flagged for disagreement to the HN echo chamber. There is nothing offensive or personal in that statement.

Moron" That is not an acceptable mode of communication on HN. The flagging has nothing to do with any "echo chamber", except perhaps for the echo chamber that reverberates with the opinion that calling your interlocutor a moron is just not on in this forum.
