Not many podcasts have the following and clout of JRE. Seems like the podcast you mentioned in Germany has it as well. But platform exclusive content is the exact opposite of what pretty much every podcast listener wants. Someone in another comment mentioned how podcasts are the last distribution of media thats completely open and this is the first big step in the wrong direction.
