I ended up chatting with them and cancelling. Initially the wait was 17 min but I got an agent within 1-2 min fortunately and cancelled aftertrying to sell me on the perks. Not too pushy and relatively pleasant. This is a good strategy though in the future. I can show proof I tried to cancel by phone/online to my credit card company.
