I've never seen this. I wish there was an easy way to recreate this, without almost getting scammed or abusing the Ebay system.
You could be on to something though. How many people have been wronged?!
- bdclimber14 16y agoYou're right, it's tough to recreate. I thought about filing a bug report with eBay. Steps to reproduce: - List a high-dollar item like a computer with an artificially high buy it now price. - Allow any type of buyer. - Wait until it's bought and you get the first scam correspondence. - File a non-paying buyer report. - Wait 2 months. - Call eBay to request a credit.
