- Reedx 6y agoWorse, if you try to copy the headline (like say, for HN) it closes. It's been that way for months.
- rodiger 6y agoDid they try to add a hotkey to C or something? Can't imagine what's going on there.
- Reedx 6y agoIt's happening onMouseUp. Trying to copy the headline triggers that (after selecting the text), or simply clicking on it. It seems the div has the same functionality as the X button. I assumed it was a mistake, but it's been so long now I wonder if it's intentional.
- wlesieutre 6y agoThey also hijack the back button if you scroll down too far, even having not clicked anything
- dgellow 6y agoIf you come from Europe, TechCrunch is literally unreadable as they are blocking their content behind a full screen and buggy consent form that I cannot validate (also, that’s against GDPR rules, ...)
- bobsoap 6y agouMatrix has been preventing me from accessing TechCrunch for some time now since they now perform a full redirect to advertising.com. I can only assume it's because they want me to consent to a long list of privacy checkboxes or something. I just don't bother with them anymore.
