We use Clojure + ClojureScript for just about everything where I work. There are a few older applications that are in Javascript with NodeJS and we have one that is C# and .NET but the rest of the company pretty much runs on Clojure. As mentioned elsewhere, Clojure doesn't really have any of the issues that you mention.
