which one of us techies and software engineers would be brave enough to take the stand and risk our job?
how many of us would look the other way and make some excuse about how it’s not our call and we are just doing our jobs?
i hope that if our time ever comes, we would all have the courage to stand up for the truth like she did.
- nicbou 6y agoIn practice, it's very difficult fo make such decisions. I'm a young, single developer with other revenue streams. I am not risking a lot, so honesty and integrity are cheap. However, many people don't have such a luxury, especially outside the tech community.

So there's lots of jobs on the low end where it's relatively easy to dump the job and get another. My intuition is that the middle has the hardest time, once you get enough job specialization and income.
