Why "please don't become a politician" in the top response? It may or may not be a happy career, but I'd rather have more of "us" doing it...

    The One Ring maybe, but still I'd rather see more elves with rings then men. It's the same fallacy, really. Even if politics is as corruptible as it's made out to be (which I tend to doubt), still I'd rather have more people with my viewpoint entering it...
