If carbon footprint is that important to you, maybe you should find ways to encourage companies not to solder on RAM instead.
- jschwartzi 6y agoWhy not both? My computer still computes with 2 GB of ram. It’s just that developers are gluing more and more stuff together to do things we did on Pentium processors with 64 MB of ram.

- headlamp 6y agono. just because soldered on ram is bad doesn't mean that bad code is ok.
