I would disagree in saying it's like Google banning YouTube as YouTube both hosts the actual data as well as filters the data that gets put onto the platform.
- Crosseye_Jack 6y agoYeah podcast app's rarely host the content themselves (though some do mirror the files to their own CDN's and Spotify have recently started doing exclusive podcasts). It was more that Podcast app's come with a curated list of podcasts and a search feature backed into the application then the actual hosting of the content.
