Nevertheless, voter fraud happens. While I agree it doesn't effect the outcome of that many elections, I think the loose handling of voter rolls and voter identification, contribute to a distrust in the integrity of US elections. Interestingly, vote by mail may be more secure than polling stations, because vote-by-mail often requires signature matching (matching signature on ballot cover with signature on registration). But the ACLU is fighting tooth and nail against signature matching.
