Oh, I assumed that dialogue between Lomuto and Hoare was real -- at least the gist of it, if not the exact words.
- zengid 6y agoThe interaction was probably real, since there is a date and location, but the dialog (and certainly the narration) seems to be taking some artistic liberties perhaps? This is also what Louisa did in her book on the history of quantum mechanics; real interactions with imagined dialogs. My apologies if I gave the wrong impression.
