I guess a closer analogy is the International Obfuscated C Code Contest (https://www.ioccc.org/ https://www.ioccc.org/): something that requires ingenuity and mastery over the language (Sanskrit or C respectively) and all its dark corners, but is more a dazzling display of cleverness than something appropriate for everyday use. :-)
