Couldn't this explain why children are at less risk? They are constantly catching various common colds.
- ramraj07 6y agoThere seem to be other reasons too, apparently the activity of Antigen Presenting Cells (another cog required in the production of the immune response) deteriorates with age, as pointed in this papers introduction section.
