Perhaps people can choose to idle on Netflix all day - but I doubt that will happen with the majority. The UBI will offer a stable safety net for all just-in-case, but most will opt to either save the money or spend it (good for the economy) most of the time, and work again to gain extra wages. This just sounds like it will reduce survival-stress levels for people overall and that's a great thing.
