Aside from the general tone-deafness of this move, shouldn't the management at the warehouses be the ones wearing the thank you t-shirts? To you know, thank the workers... I'm sure those workers would probably prefer and deserve a bonus and a heartfelt individual thank you though.

Workers are resources, not people. You're not considered a person in the US unless your net worth is high enough to make work unnecessary, and you can deal with a serious medical emergency without being bankrupted by it.
