I don't think that's true. That used to be the case, but it looked like DoorDash reversed this policy last June:

- KeepFlying 6y agoTrue. But that is still going to a Doordash "employee" and not to an employee of the restaurant itself. So DoorDash is still diverting money that I would normally give to the restaurant.
- QuotedForTruth 6y agoThat was about DoorDash (corporate) keeping tips intended for DoorDash drivers. The person you are replying to wants to tip the restaurant not DoorDash or their driver.
