This is why we need work from home. Banning cars and forcing public transport is not going to fix the problem!
- ch4s3 6y agoThey’re talking about a part of London where many people walk to work anyway. This just gives them more space and eases crowding on sidewalks. Also, not every job can be done from home.

- acallaghan 6y agoCleaners, nurses, doctors, retail staff, binmen, utility workers, the building trades, etc. etc. Just because programmers can work from home, doesn't mean everyone can. Programmers should definitely continue to work from home as much as is tolerable
- gadders 6y agoIt's also not going to work because Sadiq Khan seems to have badly mismanaged public transport can't seem to run sufficient service such that the few people that do need it aren't all crowded together.
