California already has the major semiconductor equipment manufacturers like Applied Materials, Lam Research, Nanometrics which might make money selling equipment to them. Edit: I used to do R&D on SEM equipment when I was a mechanical engineer back in the 90s. I've reinvented my career many times over. I see the company I worked for still has one of those in major production. Maybe it will go into this fab. Its awesome seeing something you worked on decades ago still in production!
