So, this amendment lost by one vote, and Bernie Sanders didn't vote. Does anyone know what happened? I've understood him as having been against most of the Patriot Act since its inception.
- logicchains 6y agoMaybe the NSA showed up at his doorstep and made him an offer he couldn't refuse?
- brendoelfrendo 6y agoPerhaps it's because Section 215 is already expired and Sanders doesn't plan to vote for its renewal, so he doesn't see a point in voting for an amendment that makes said renewal more likely to pass?
