I think it’s my mathematical background. I tend to think of these kinds of processes as ‘transformations’.
- mdpye 6y agoHeh, sorry to beat you over the head with it. You're certainly right that they are transformations. That feels like a more general term (within this context, obvs not in the context of render as "to give"), but I can't tease out what the difference is in my understanding of them.
