How does a tech bubble explain the fact that we see negative effects in industries outside of tech and far from the reach of VC funding? I enjoy the cynical take on tech as much as the next software engineer, but people have been calling this a "bubble" for years. It's taken an extraordinary event to actually pop this "bubble", and yet the pop has affected things far beyond tech. To me, that screams the problem or "bubble" wasn't just the tech industry.
