Couldn't read the article; but might this business model make more sense in Europe or Asia (scooter, cyclist delivery by young people)? Not sure how food-delivery works in the USA, but I'd think the low density, car-focused infrastructure might make it less competitive compared to cyclist/scooter deliveries elsewhere.
