Trump is more colorful and in your face about it, but I do not believe his Administration is more corrupt, he just does not have the media covering for him like the past administration have
Further some of the "corruption" is not IMO corruption at all, like for example the current scandal around Michael Flynn. Those charges by the FBI are a clear example of Tyranny (Tyranny defined as that which is legal for government but illegal for the citizenry). What is sad to me is that FBI does that to people all the time and normally gets away with it

This is an over-expansive definition of tyranny, I think. It says, for example, that waging war against another country is tyranny. I can imagine adopting this position, but is it what you mean? (It's also hard for me to apply even this expansive definition of tyranny to: > Those charges [against Flynn] by the FBI are a clear example of Tyranny (Tyranny defined as that which is legal for government but illegal for the citizenry). I agree that the government can lay criminal charges against an individual, whereas an individual cannot do so against another, but that is a very general phenomenon that has nothing particular to do with Flynn's case, so again I assume that it's not what you mean.)

I can imagine adopting this position, but is it what you mean? Any non-defensive use of violence, and any violence that goes beyond the minimum required eliminate the immediate threat is unethical. So yes most wars fought by most nations are Unethical and an example of Tyranny >>I agree that the government can lay criminal charges against an individual, whereas an individual cannot do so against another, but that is a very general phenomenon that has nothing particular to do with Flynn's case, so again I assume that it's not what you mean.) In Flynn's case he was charged with Lying to the FBI, it is illegal for you to lie to the FBI but it is perfectly legal for the FBI to lie to you... For this to not be Tyrannical then it either needs to be illegal for the FBI to lie to a suspect, or it needs to be legal for a suspect to lie to the FBI
