I suspect the decision to use sea water to cool the reactor means that they have decided to write off the plant. It was 40 years old anyway and nearing the end of it's service life.

- Ratfish 16y agoWondered when someone would mention that. Had seen the link to it in the comments on the Cringely article, posted by a Cringely sceptic. Weird coincidence that it happen the month it was due to be decommissioned.
