This is an issue I had to tackle with in the past... We offer a toggle option for a search item and if you select multiple makes of something you can always add makes, but when you remove enough makes that the toggle no longer applies the user gets a scary 'Your search is no longer valid'. I was surprised by this menu but I ended up hunting down the answer since the management did not want any pages showing zero results... the reason: "makes it look like we have smaller inventory than we do"
