Excuse my ignorance. What's new about this? I thought React Native was already a thing?
- filoleg 6y agoReact Native was a thing for native mobile app development. The post is talking about React Native becoming available for native desktop app development.

- contextfree 6y agoWhile it's not that new (has been public for over a year), this is a different, newer implementation of RNW (written in C++ instead of C#)

- pugworthy 6y agoReact Native at least only advertises that it only supports Android + iOS, whereas this adds "PCs, tablets, 2-in-1s, Xbox, Mixed reality devices, etc., as well as the MacOS desktop and laptop ecosystems"
