In what world is a neural network required to measure a change in voltage?
- dmitrybrant 6y agoIt really is nowhere near as simple as that. Each neuron is made of 100 trillion atoms. For all we know, each one of those atoms is responsible, in its own subtle way, for contributing to the total "change in voltage" of the neuron as a whole. For all we know, adjacent neurons can induce tiny amounts of current in each other, even without being directly connected. The stuff that actually gives rise to consciousness is vastly, astronomically more complex than the graph of whole neurons.
