- MaxBarraclough 6y agoStephen Fry once suggested pronouncing 'www' as 'wuh wuh wuh', taking around a third the time to say as the usual pronunciation. A pity it didn't catch on.
- Multicomp 6y agoI've heard it pronounced "dub dub dub" for similar speed improvement
- macintux 6y agoI first heard that 20 years ago and thought it was a genius hack.
- Izkata 6y agoI typically drop the middle syllable to get "dub-yew dub-yew dub-yew"; not as fast but no one seems to realize what I did and they just hear the full name.
- MaxBarraclough 6y agoThis option has the advantage that 'dub dub dub dot' is fun to say.
- account42 6y agowww is useless anyway as you are already choosing to connect to the web by using the HTTP(S) protocol.
