So we DO negotiate with terrorists when it's economic...
- errantmind 6y agoTerrorists? I don't think that word means what you think it means
- lostmsu 6y agoWhat will happen to the workers who defy the reopening? If they will be fired, that is terror.
- errantmind 6y agoWord choice is important to communicate your thoughts: "terrorism is the use of intentional violence for political or religious purposes"
- Gibbon1 6y agoIs the Cult of Musk not a religion?
- buzzerbetrayed 6y agoUm... no? Do words have no meaning anymore?
- Gibbon1 6y agoI'm from California, Musk and his followers seem REALLY culty to me.
- lostmsu 6y agoTrue. And I am glad, that I did correctly use the word "terror", which you managed to misread somehow, and then blame me for your own mistake.
- resonantjacket5 6y agoAre you taking everyone on ycombinator to be a fool. The previous comment talked about 'terrorism' so when you use the word 'terror' it's connected to have the same meaning.
- lostmsu 6y agoThe top comment explicitly said "economic terrorism". Did you have trouble understanding the meaning of that?
- cameronbrown 6y agoFiring an employee is not violence.
- lostmsu 6y agoTerror does not require violence. It is silencing political opponents by abuse of power assymetry.
- cameronbrown 6y agoWrong. The definition of terror is using violence to advance political goals.
