My parents still can’t get NYS unemployment benefits processed since they started applying in March due to all the website and process problems. Sure wish they’d focus there.
- ceejayoz 6y agoPlanning to reopen businesses across the state is certainly one aspect of fixing unemployment, and I doubt the graphic designer and web developer here had any significant impact on the maintenance of the unemployment computer systems.
- virvar 6y agoI work for a city, I think you can be pretty certain that they are doing both. Hell, the team that’s working on unemployment benefits probably didn’t hear about this project before they read about it here on HN.
