I heard on the radio earlier today that they were evacuating an area around one or more of the nuclear reactors in Japan. I sincerely hope that no lives are lost as a result of issue with their reactors - that would only add to the already tragic circumstances. I did think to myself as I heard the news that it would be a shame if people who are against nuclear power co-opted this event to campaign against it. Couldn't they at least include some wording about thoughts & prayers for the people affected? I understand this furthers their agenda, but 1) not everyone agrees with their agenda and 2) this is hardly the time to push an agenda.
