  It's not about good or bad. Bitcoin is bad because a transaction takes 700kWh and 87 grams of e-waste. It's staggeringly inefficient because trust is a huge optimization. Tether is bad. Where it intersects is it can create the impression people think Bitcoin is worth something in dollars.

      Poorly worded but what I meant was that Tether's shadiness doesn't imply Bitcoin is bad. That, I believe stands on its own merits.
