I dunno about the US, but my flat in London isn’t suitable for both of us working from home. Most other flats in London aren’t suitable for two people working from home either. Unless we build a lot of new, larger homes with live/work spaces, this isn’t going to work.
- panzagl 6y agoThe underlying assumption in a lot of these articles is that if you could work from home you'd move to the suburbs/country where space is cheaper. Very few assume people like living in a city.
- LyndsySimon 6y agoI understand that living spaces are quite a bit larger on average here in the US. My home for my family of four is a 1,800 sq ft, 4 bedroom/w bath home with an office/den and large living room. It feels fairly typical for suburban/semi-rural areas.
