I started working from home about 10 years ago. At first I was going back to an office every 4 months. I got sick twice a year, pretty much every fall/winter and spring trip. Each job since then the number of required trips seems to drop a little. I think I'm pretty much permanently always home now. I really don't get sick any more. I know it hasn't really hit specific articles, but NO, nail salons are not the cause of the pandemic. The specific cause of the pandemic was airplanes (or travelling in general) and offices, which quite aptly explains new york on both counts.
