- msla 6y agoVideo is good for brief pieces unless the whole point is to evoke emotion. Are you Spielberg? Are you going for Best Picture? Then keep your video very short. It isn't searchable, it moves at one speed regardless of how the audience is doing, and there's no way to copy text out of it so I can search for more information. It can't be cross-referenced, it can barely be indexed, and the text it contains can't be reformatted, unless I'm applying the formatting to subtitles which live in a separate file, in which case I'm really interacting with a text document after all, innit?
