It’s hard because the beneficiaries of writing are different than the writers. It’s only in very strong cultures where execs put a premium on this on measuring talent. “Not only finish your work, and these three other tasks, but write about it too.”
Organizations can pull it off if enough people do it long enough, and they make heroes of the great writers. You see it in companies that are best in class in talent management.
