This is excellent! The one thing I really like is the annotations. Been looking for a way to embed k:v attributes in a parseable markdown, for making metadata of codebases and datasets. How are URL's handled? One solution would be to just reuse Markdown's [link](text) notation, as a subset of annotations. That would be the least-mental-friction route for markdown users.
