- AlexC04 16y agoIndeed. I'd imagine that the image of the tweet on Reddit was seen by someone at NYT then created with the hopes of pulling viewers because it was clearly a hot button topic. The opposite of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Journalists look to Reddit to see what people are interested in, write the article, point back to self. Reap rewards. Right? It's the content production business after all, just makes good business sense.
