I love using ten key-less. Moving the mouse closer makes a big difference.
I've used Cherry MX blue switches for years now, in a few different keyboards I've had.
- dehrmann 6y agoDuring WFH, I realized I was getting a sore mouse wrist. I tried Logitech's vertical mouse, but it made things worse. I switched back to my work setup with a Evoluent C mouse and a MS Sculpt keyboard without the ten key. The theory is that for right-handed mouse use, you get better alignment. I was eyeing some ergonomic mechanical keyboards, but a lot of them were pretty weird, and after the sore wrist, I wasn't up for trying something new. tl;dr: no ten-key and vertical mouse really help.
- lgunsch 6y agoA previous boss of mine used a vertical mouse for years, and he swore by it.
- Havoc 6y agoAs accountant it’s really messing with my flow during the day though (wfh so same keyboard). After hours obviously not an issue
