I can relate especially with today's vast arrays of choices for pretty much anything in our fields (databases, architectures and philosophies, programming languages, cloud providers, etc). I am still struggling from this myself but rolling the dice helped. If I clearly picked a wrong choice, at least I learnt and gained knowledge. Over time, it does cost less to fail and pivot back to a different path.
