I used to use AutoHotKey several years ago. It provides remapping hotkeys, text expansion (snippets), macro on operating system level, etc. But it only runs on Windows. :( It's the very few tools on Windows I miss. Now I use Spotlight/Alfred/Dash/aText instead.
