That's awesome :) I wish I had realized that earlier instead of dropping everything. This makes me wonder if the ability to be detached from outside opinion is not what's the most important thing to evolve in writing. Baudelaire and Lovecraft come to mind, they both managed to go on for a whole life despite harsh reception in their time.
