I challenged myself to learn to count cards last year and I found it really fun. Being able to count a deck in under 30 seconds is one thing, but putting the skill to work is another challenge completely. It is hard work. Ultimately, if you aren’t playing with a team or $50+ minimums, you won’t make a huge amount of money on a per-hour basis. I still count occasionally but now only for one or two shuffles before getting back to having fun with friends.
