"Yay, it is 2020, why would anyone care if I add more external resources to my site and expose all my visitors without their knowledge or consent to yet another third, fourth, fifth party that of course will amass powerful data which eventually will be used for other very important and heavenly purposes, stolen, leaked, cross-referenced, sold, abused. The more the merrier!" Sorry, do I sound upset? Yes, I am upset. It is 2020, and it makes me sad to see such topics still, with all the daily coverage and "common knowledge" about privacy risks, and not a single mention of the issues that come with "free" services that some "great people" have "luckily" built for "us" for the betterment of humanity. The population has zero say, zero defense, zero power. It is only the young web blogger people like Kenton that could make a change here, but it is not happening. :-( Sorry, man, no personal offense.
