Ask HN: Interesting ideas to write Restful API as part of the practice?

I'm looking for interesting and challenging ideas to practice writing APIs, so far I've found simple tasks like writing a notes, blog or forum. Do you know any interesting and challenging ideas? Maybe some tasks from your previous studies?
