Yes please. I've been working on something quite similar to this project (in Rust), and I had the same need. I started tinkering with a library + DSL that describes data fetching and transformation, where all data is transformed into schema.org types. The DSL can then be either interpreted or client code generated for various languages. This would potentially make such a API collection library much more feasible. Sadly such a DSL turns out to be more of a full programming language if all requirements are covered.
