Actually, now that i'm re-reading this, it's a disaster. She claims to write this to help newcomers, yet everything is so cryptic. `it kicks off a "serviceworker" thread to handle it.` It doesn't even tell me how I should do this. I don't know what 'serviceworker' code looks like. I don't know what 'kicking off' means. This post reads like it was made for maybe 3 or 4 people in the world who truly 'get it' and if you aren't in that elite club you're a terrible engineer, apparently. There's not even a lick of example code to get an idea of what is going on. Engineering is a big word that shouldn't be used in this blog post.
