I highly doubt cars are the actual killer app for wireless charging. At the end of the day, they're usually parked a good amount of time, and are comparably tolerant of extra weight, which makes some form of battery much simpler. I'd look for applications where a system cannot stop moving, otherwise isn't in physical contact with infrastructure / cannot be accessed, or absolutely can't tolerate additional weight.
